FAQs RELATED TO EPIC WEEKEND
Can I bring a friend, my spouse/family?
It’s a great idea to combine a trip here with an extended vacation. The beautiful state of NH has so much to offer. However, this event is tailored for full participants so if you have someone in your life who would enjoy the experience with you — that is totally encouraged. Secure them a spot too!
What is there to do in NH?
We encourage you to visit our website at epicwoodworking.com/logistics for a full list of questions we often field when people are considering in-shop events. You’ll find information about travel such as which airport to fly into, recommended accommodations, as well as a list of sites you can peruse for things to do in NH.
We are about an hour from everything including the coast, the mountains, and Boston. There are countless places to hike, bike, swim, camp, etc. You can see and tour legit historical sights, museums, seasonal crafts fairs and festivals… you name it.
Could weather be an issue?
Barring the fact that rain will be a bit of a bummer, we will be able to function just fine. We have ample shelter so everything will be able to go on as planned.
Cancellation Policy?
A full refund, minus a $25 processing fee, will be available if cancellation is received before 4 weeks prior to the event. If received before 2 weeks prior to the event, all but $250 will be refunded. If cancellation is received within 2 weeks of the event, no monies will be returned. If for some reason we initiate a cancellation, your funds will be reimbursed in full. Please see our Policies page for full details.

THIS WEEKEND IS FOR YOU…If you love woodworking and would like a weekend among like-minded people, access to 3 fine furniture artisans, and loads of tasty food, you will relish this weekend. This is a demo-focused experience, skill level does not matter. It will be pressure free… just sit back, relax, and enjoy!

FYI, both of these weekends are great options for “Leaf peepers” – if you want to experience New England foliage, which everyone should at least once in their life, you will be surrounded by it on either of these weekends (weather permitting).
LOCATION: Tom’s shop in Canterbury, NH, and around our property, a wooded environment that is beautiful, restful and includes some trails to explore. We have plenty of parking as well. Note: The shop is air conditioned, easy to access, and bathroom facilities are always within reach. Meals will be served in an event tent.
FOOD: Lunch Friday and Saturday, Dinner Thursday, Friday and Saturday, ample desserts, and plenty of coffee and beverages Trust us, we’re not skimping on the goods here!
TREATS: This is probably the part that’s most fun. Upon arrival you will receive a gift bag, and throughout the weekend have a the chance to win a woodworking-related giveaway. Intrigued? You’ll have to come and see!
